01 / 06 · Software Recovery & Project Takeover

Recover & fix broken or unfinished software.

The developer left. The agency went quiet. The app keeps crashing. We take over the code, find out what is really wrong, and get it working again.

Best forAbandoned projects, half-built products, apps that crash, failed deployments, code nobody understands.
Short answer

Software recovery means taking over a broken, unfinished or abandoned application, reviewing the code and servers, fixing the most serious problems first, and then finishing or rebuilding what is needed. FusionTechMark starts with a written assessment so you know the real state of the project before spending more.

Sound familiar?

  • The original developer or agency has stopped responding.
  • The project is half-built and nobody knows what is left to do.
  • Bugs appear faster than they get fixed.
  • A release failed and the app is down or unstable.
  • No one can explain how the code works or how to deploy it.

What we do.

Codebase review

We read the code, run it, and give you a plain-English report of what works, what is broken and what is risky.

Critical bug fixing

The problems hurting users and revenue get fixed first, in order of risk.

Deployment repair

We get the app back online and set up a deployment you can repeat safely.

Finish what was started

Unfinished features are completed, or cleanly removed if they are no longer needed.

Handover notes

Short documentation: how it runs, how to deploy, where the secrets and accounts live.

A clear recommendation

Fix it, finish it, or rebuild it — with the reasons, so you can decide with confidence.

How it works

Four steps, no mystery.

You know what is happening and what comes next at every stage.

01

Get access

Code, servers, databases and accounts. If some of that is missing, we work out what can be rebuilt.

02

Assess

We map the system and list every issue by risk. You get the report before any big spend.

03

Stabilize

Critical bugs fixed, app running reliably, backups in place.

04

Finish & hand over

Remaining work completed, tested, and documented.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can you take over code that someone else wrote?

Yes. This is the most common reason people contact us. We start with a review so you know the real state of the code before deciding what to do next.

What if I do not have the source code?

Often the running app, the server and the database are enough to recover most of the project. It depends on the technology, and we will tell you honestly what is and is not possible.

Will you rewrite everything?

Not unless it is the best option. Many projects only need targeted fixes. If a rebuild is the right call, we explain why and show the alternatives.

How fast can you start?

Tell us about the project and we will give you a realistic start date after a short conversation.
